HP 209A Oscillator

Ranges: Frequency: 4hz to 2MHz in 6 ranges

performance:

dial accuracy +/-3% or frequency setting.

flatness (at max output into 600 ohm load):

+/- 0.5% from 100hz to 300 KHz
+/- 1% from 200kHz to 1MHz
+/- 5% from 1MHz to 2MHz

below 100hz, +/- 1% in LF low distortion mode, +5/-1% in normal mode.

distortion is 0.1% from 200hz to 200kHz, degrading to 1% at the ends of the frequency range. In LF low distortion mode, the degradation is only 0.2% at the low end.

hum and noise: less than 0.01% of output.

output voltage: 5V rms into 600 ohms, 10V open circuit. output can be
floated up to +/- 500V peak between output and chassis ground.
output impedance: 600 ohms
output control: 20 dB range, continuously adjustable.

square wave:

output voltage: 20V pk-pk open circuit, symmetrical about zero.  Output
  can be floated +/- 500V from chassis ground.

external synchronization:

sync impedance: 10 kohm
sync output: sine wave in phase with output.  amplitude into 1megohm
  shunted by 100pf is greater than 1.7V rms from 4hz to 50KHz, greater
  than 0.1V above 50KHz
sync input: oscillator can be synchronized to external signal.  for 5V
  rms input, sync frequency can be as much as +/- 7% away from set
  frequency. sync range is a linear function of sync voltage.
