Elgenco 603A Gaussian Noise Generator

The output is flat (white noise) +/- 1db from 10Hz to the front panel range setting on the 20kc and 500kc ranges, and +/- 3.5db on the 5mc range. The output is 3db down at about 5hz. From testing on my unit, these specs seem solid (i.e. somewhat conservative.) on the 5mc range, the output peaks somewhat around 5MHz.

The meter is supposed to read the RMS output value into the output attenuator, though it isn't very accurate, at least on my unit (no specified accuracy.)

The approximate noise spectral density in millivolts/root-hertz when the meter is set at 1V RMS is:

20 kc range: 5
500kc: 1.2
5 mc: 0.4

The amplitude knob adjusts the genrator output, and it is supposed to go up to 3V on all ranges, though my unit is also out of spec here. The dynamic range (similar to crest factor, I guess) is specified at 3.5 at 3VRMS, and larger at lower output settings.

The output is 200ohms impedance, and the meter/attenuator combo is calibrated into no load. The min load resistance on the x1 range is 700 ohms.

I got my manal from Manuals Plus, and they seem to have several more copies:
