Joshua Knobe is an experimental philosopher. On edge.org he talks about experiments where people were presented with stories and asked apparently non-moral questions (did this person intend this consequence?, is this person happy?) and found that people's answers were strongly dependent on the moral frame established by the story (such as whether the outcome was good or bad).
